How long do I have to subscribe to Community Server or Graffiti CMS for?
The minimum subscription period is one month. However, an annual subscription will provide cost savings so this is the recommended option. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your online platform will stay live until your paid-up period expires.
How can I pay for my subscription?
We accept payment by cheque, Postal Order, Bankers Draft, Credit Card and PayPal. We will shortly be offering a Direct Debit option.
Can I customise my Community Server or Graffiti CMS installation?
Yes. Community Server has a rich, fully featured web-based interface enabling user-customisations. If you would like to go a step further and integrate specific brand identity into your site or are unsure of customising your platform then you have the option of using The Community Host Customisation Service.
Does The Community Host offer a complete customisation and content management service?
We do, but on an individual basis. None of the packages advertised on this site applies to a bespoke installation, customisation and content editing solution. Please contact us to discuss your requirements, whether they are complex or straightforward.
What exactly does Managed Community Server or Graffiti CMS mean?
The Community Host can provide installation, setup and daily management of the running of your social networking software should you not have the time or manpower to do it yourself. If any software updates are released by Telligent, the software company behind Community Server and Graffiti CMS, we test them and apply them to your community as part of the service. The bottom line is that we take care of everything – completely - leaving you free to concentrate on the important part: your social networking content.
Is there a limit to the number of 'pages' I can have with my Graffiti CMS or Community Server installation?
No is the short answer. There is a limit to the amount of disk space that comes as standard with each subscription, but even the most basic subscription includes 2GB of storage and that’s enough for many thousands of pages of content. Even then you can add more disk space if you need to, so to say there is a limit isn’t strictly true.
Can I move my community site to another ISP?
You can ask us to re-point your domain to another ISP. However, we do not currently offer any way for your content to be moved so you would literally have to copy and paste it from the community we manage for you to your new ISP Community Server installation.
Can I keep the free domain name that comes with my subscription and transfer it to another ISP?
You may, although whilst there is no charge to transfer your domain to another ISP, you will have to pay for the domain itself. The current charge for a .uk domain is £11.75 including VAT and for a .com, .net or .org is £19.99 including VAT.

Why does my site show Community Server Express Edition when I have paid for another version?
Your site will be commissioned using an Express Edition license. When payment has cleared we will apply the correct license according to your order. This process usually takes only a matter of hours. However, if you wish, you can pay by credit card and the license will be applied far more quickly.
